Just finished my 7 day bleach soak. Filled with RO water, seachem safe, and let sit for about 12 hours. I dumped dang near the entire “safe” bottle in two 40 gallon brute trash cans filled with rock.

But I am getting 0 free chlorine and 1 ppm of Total chlorine. Any tips?

Let it air dry for several days, then soak in RODI and test again.

Confirm that your total chlorine test gives a zero on known clean water.

Still has a bleach smell on the rock. Dosed with Seachem Prime today. And am letting it sit. I would take it out and let it sit in sun but it’s getting colder/cloudy here.
