Hi everyone,

A week ago I picked up a young blue tang who seemed very healthy coming from the LFS.

The tang is eating really well and looks very active and grazes throughout the day.

Most mornings when the tang wakes up it seems to have some new white patches on its body, at first it was on one side of its face, then its cheek on the other side, then a single one appeared on its dorsel fin and now it is on the original side but halfway down its body.
I was looking to get some advice on what this is and how to treat it. I don't have the possibility of quarantining unfortunately.

I have attached some pics and a video!

Thanks so much in advance

I don't think the videos attached?
Can you post still photos in white light?

Blue tangs are often called "Ich Magnets."

I don't treat, but occasionally I will add a UV to give the fish a break if they get Ichy. Folks who medicate will tell you to set up a QT immediately .
