So I have my Rainbow BTA in a small basket looking to sell or trade and it was attached to a clam shell nicely.
I had 2 small acan colonies in there with it on other side of basket and it was going fine for few weeks.
One day i come home and see the BTA's foot on the acan...
NOOOOOOO
So kept basting it with water to get it to move and it did.
2 days later acan is all covered in grey goop... basted it off, All dead... just bare skeleton now.

That's what happens to acans. I've had acans stung by chalices and torches. Heads melt. If there are some live heads usually the rest will survive and regrow.
