I saw periwinkles online for a dollar a piece, but I was thinking, they have them in LIS in the millions. Would it be possible to move those guys into my tank? And how should I clean them of unwanted algae/bacteria? Im thinking that I will QT them for a couple weeks to clean out their digestive tract of toxins, and maybe even breed them for a couple generations to make reef safe snails.

What's up Logan, did you ever accomplish this? I was thinking the same thing last weekend when I was at the beach.
