I’ve not used a CARX before, sorry I’m advance for the coming questions this month. What I bought is way overkill, but, in the next year I will be consolidating two tanks into one. So I am also thinking to the future.
I have a SPS dominate tank that I am putting well over 400 MLS each of alk and CA with 2 part. I am struggling with stability.
I purchased from GEO:
I like to run higher PH and with a CARX I under the ph will be lower. I was told that if I added a second chamber it would remove the CO2 thus not impacting the tanks PH as much, is this true?
If it is, should I match the secondary reactor size to the first 6x18 or I could (for half the cost) do a 4 x 15.
Last question, for now. I am going to use reborn, I have 2 - 8.8 bags. I will need more if I go with a second chamber, but I have seen where people will use smaller reborn for that second chamber, is that the thing to do and is it due to more surface area?
