230g water volume
Currently dose 50ml All for Reef during the day and 1100ml Kalk overnight.

Alk is dropping on average .2 dKh daily.

I checked Randy's reef calculator and it says that I would need another 1500ml f Kalk to make up this difference.

I am assuming then that this would mean 2600ml of Kalk (.6 gallon) daily in addition to the 50ml All for Reef) to maintain current consumption.

Does this sound correct?

You are dropping 0.2dKH a day even with your current dosing regime?

If the calculator said 1500mL of kalkwasser to boost 0.2dKH, you will need to add that amount to what you are already dosing daily.

Yes, dropping even with current dosing regiment.

This is what I thought but always good to get a second confirmation.

Thank you.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
