Hi everyone,

I bought a cleaner shrimp yesterday and it died after I placed it in the tank. He didn’t move at all after I placed in the tank.

I acclimated it before placing into the tank. Can someone tell me why it didn’t survive please

With kind regards,

You are posting in Bulk Reef Supplys sponsor forum - Pretty sure thats a mistake.

Unfortunately there isnt much help anyone can give with the detials provided. Youd have to detial how you acclimated the shrimp and more details about the tank itself for anyone to have any sort of guess.

Repost again in the "help and advice" section of the forum and provide plenty more details on how you acclimated, the length of time you acclimated for the parameters of the tank its been acclimated into etc. and hopefully someone willl jump on and help.

will need more info to guess, like water parameters, how old is the tank?

Based on the little info you provided, seems to be something wrong with your water since it died as soon as you put it in your water.

Was it moving during acclimation? How did you acclimate?
Need lots of info.
