My refugium is full to the brim with a HUGE ball of chaeto. I would like to harvest some and give it away, but the problem is it is full of Aiptasia...

Does anyone have a good way of killing the Aiptasia without killing the chaeto?

I have washed mine in fresh tap water but with aptaisia, probably best to throw it away.

Please don't. Its not worth infecting other peoples tank. Its just not.

That is what I was thinking.. I would rather trash it than infect my LFS or anyone else... But if there is a chance to save it, I would like to try...

Good trouble: Have mushrooms ever become pests in your aquarium?
