Ok so I have started dosing kalkwasser via ATO,everything is going well .I have params where I want them SO FAR LOL!!!!!
My question is how often should you clean out the sludge left over from the kalkwasser in your top off tank ?
My top off container hold just under 7.5 gallons so it last about a week should I clean it every time I refill it ?

Some people go months without ever cleaning their ATO reservoir. No problem.
I tend to clean mine every time it's empty though. It only takes about five minutes to rinse it out, fill it up, add the kalkwasser and mix it.

I use this tote for my limewater. I just dump kalk in periodically as I use fully saturated limewater. When I refill with RODI water I just stir it all up with a pvc pipe for about 30 seconds and let it settle a couple hours before allowing it to be dosed again.

I plan to clean it all out about once a year. At least thats what I keep planning to do. It's about 6 years over due. I wouldn't stress over it

You shouldn't have to clean the bottom out, its solid caco3. Randy holmes farley didn't clean his often. Iirc years.

It also unused kalk and many other impurities that have settled out. It is a good idea to clean it out periodically.

Right. Years. In fact, it is probably still there after I took the tank down a few months ago. :D
