I went away for a few days and now there's a clear bubble looking thing on a paly frag that's in the qt tank.
Any ideas?

Yeah, I think I am, haha. It's my first paly and it was a freebie. I was a little shocked when I came home.

how old is the tank? what is alk, mag, cal, nitrate, phos, i heard someone say that they have their zoas (i would assume that it is the same for palys) but they said that when their levels change, that their zoas do this, but i have know idea if this is correct. have your levels spiked at all?

I don't see a clear bubble on the pally? Maybe you can draw a circle or arrow?

They are stretching out for more light though.

It's my qt. I haven't tested it yet. But my daughter did top it off way to high. I top it off manually with a price of tape marked. Salinity was 35ppt. Now it's 32.9ppt. I bet that's what it is. I'm about to drip them for a few hours and put them in the main tank.
