Don't know what's wrong with it and cant get it to eat looked fine yesterday now this. levels are ammonia and nitrite are 0 nitrate 50 phosphate 8.2 alk 12 calcium 400 phosphate 1.5 salinity 1.025 and its a 55 gallon with 30 gallon sump
Split I'm not sure. Never seen them split. They usually do it when there's no one around though.
When they poop they close up for a while. Did the water temp change? Mine does that every water change. Also if the cleaner shrimp decides to mess w him he closes up.
Ok that pic looks way worse than the first one. Sadly it looks like it's on it's way out. I've only had one condy along time ago and it didn't make it but a few weeks. Sorry wish I could tell you why
It doesn't look good I'm afraid to say (the second picture). It actually looks kind of bleached to me - do you have your lights up real high? It's good that you've let it be and to find a place - I would think if the light was too much, it would find a shaded area. Perhaps it was already too sick before even entering your aquarium
it's very white, they usually aren't that white ime......different types of anemones can react differently to varying parameters......and to complicate it further, individuals within types can vary as well
beam works led 48"
tanks been up 4 months and there is crushed coral at the back sand in the middle and gravel at the front
the last picture posted was the day i got it and it looked like that at the store
I would have to agree with a previous poster. It does look like a very bleached LTA rather than a Condy. If it were a condy, it is not likely at all that a clownfish would be able to survive hosting it, much less even try hosting it.
That being said, when you posted your water parameters, you listed phosphate twice... once at 8.2 (high) and once at 1.5 (acceptable). Which is it?
