Hey, so I have had a Coral Beauty for about 3 weeks now. She normally scavenges thought the day and eate pellets with the other fish. She also occasionally gets seaweed for a snack that she might take one or two nibbles out of. But over these past few days she's been acting strange, swimming weird, hiding out all day long and not coming out, not eating, keeps her mouth open constantly, and now today I noticed a lump on her stomach. I've checked all of my water levels yesterday and everything is perfect! Can you please help me. I don't think she has much longer to live :(

That looks like an internal infection of some sort. I'm really sorry, but there really isn't anything that you can do for that sort of issue. The lack of feeding and open mouth breathing means there is something systemically wrong - that the infection is throughout the body. Although it probably isn't contagious, what other fish are in the tank with it?

Gosh, I really wish I could help her. She looks like she is in so much pain. She's still alive but I don't think she will make It much longer. And I have two clown fish and a Blue damsel in the tank with her.

Just watch the other fish for any signs of rapid breathing. I'm just concerned that sometimes, fish can have multiple issues - if I focus on the lump, I might not realize that the coral beauty also has some gill disease or something that could spread to the other fish....

I did notice a red bump behind her gill before I buried her. Do you know what it is and if it could be contagious or not?
