Bump. Anyone else got a answer. Did some more research on pocillopora and if that is what it is I do not want it in my tank anymore.Bump
Lol may I ask why?Bump. Anyone else got a answer. Did some more research on pocillopora and if that is what it is I do not want it in my tank anymore.
I was reading about it, and people say it can reproduce very quickly and make colonies and sting your other corals. Kinda like aiptaisia but not as bad.Lol may I ask why?
I’ve read that they can do polyp bailout or produce asexually, and other corals can do polyp bailout also. pocillopora apparently has a very high chance of surviving and colonizing again though. The way i was reading on how people control it is they either glue or epoxy over the new colonies that form.Wild! I didn't realize that.. but it's a branching sps, is it that hard to keep under control? It's not like an encrusting Monti, which can become a real problem imo. I do still love them tho lol
I got some more picture of the digis i have now, and tried to get some close ups of the polyps. I know youve helped me in the past and seem to know a lot. Just trying to be sure its not pocillopora. Hoping its either stylo or digi thought.Agree, look to be digita
