I am a big fan of redundancy and travel. Has anyone used the dos as an ato pump? How well did it work for you? I have a low sump water sensor that I would like to use as a trigger to kick off one side of the DOS. Is this possible?

I've never done it, but they were designed for high speed automatic water changes(which I have used one for), so I can't see it not working.

I would add, the DOS is LOUD when run at high speeds. AND you want a high level sensor as a shut off in your programming.

I will definitely have a high level sensor, along with a backup. I am not worried about noise since this would only be used as a back up to the main ato pump.
