Searched everywhere to see if the back panel is drillable on the JBJ RL AIO tanks and can't find anything. The back glass panel has a black wrap on it so can't use other techniques to see if its tempered. I want to tie my nano in with my new build's sump, but also don't want to ruin my wife's tank.

I'd like to drill it to keep a cleaner look but could always do the hang on back overflows and returns if no one has experience with JBJ tanks and drilling them.

You could test the clear portions of the tank, more than likely if the other panels are not tempered you are safe, though not a guarantee. You could contact JBJ and give them your exact tank model and year it was made/purchased and see if they know. Could scrape the black paint off the back panel and test to see if it is tempered.

I have drilled an IM AIO and a Fluval AIO but never a JBJ
