I have lots of ideas! Forgive me if this is another 1 of the dumb 1s. Lol
I see ats being very popular now days.
I for one am a big supporter of mechanical filtration that leads to bio or natural filtration such as ats and bio pellets. Even skimmers are a mechanical filter that provide an area for nature to do its thing. Anyway...

For people wanting an ats with out buying an enclosed box type or plumbing off their main manifold. I thought an easy diy unit supported by its own frame of pvc would be great. Heres my sketch. I havent made yet.

I wanna make this and give.to a.friend and see if he will use it. Lol

It will work i have seen people do similar. Without it being enclosed it can be a little harder to light appropriately and salt creep becomes more of an issue so just be aware of those things.

I take a hole saw and ruff up the sewing netting and use shop lights on both sides. I thought about hanging some thin plastic to help with the splash and salt creep too. Hm. Ty!
