Duncan coral is closed up and slimed over, is it dead?

Take a look at the Duncan coral pictures to help me confirm that it’s dead. I am pretty sure it is but I want to be rational and not just kick him. Thanks.
Also, are bleached corals able to be saved to a certain point? Had 3 that didn’t like the light one day and turned all white.

Its a goner. You can siphon the top with 3/8" tubing and see if there is any green flesh within the skeleton but grim chances

Although crazier things have happened. For example, i lost this trumpet coral head and months later i see 2 new heads forming..
