Thanks! If i remember when i got it, it had 2 or 3 heads now it has 6. Every now and then ill notice a new head forming. Once in a while ill feed it some mysis but my clownfish and blood shrimp usually go after it.
Yes indeed the can grow really quickly and become large. On the feeding, my fish do the same ...they steal the food from it ...but I guess it still gets some

I have been observing the back of the coral so its been rotated, but here is how full the other side is. When I get to my basement I will get my pokey stick and spin it around for another photograph.

This one has been having growth spurts and acting like this alot while the other one is generally open and grows slowly

Duncans do have odd behaviors sometimes indeed ... I have seen it happen too like one head is fully open and extended but the one right next to it is not, and so on. And then they will close up for no apparent reason and then re-open later sometimes hours, also for no apparent reason ... but they are hardy ones for sure and unless they get stung by a nearby coral they will just keep popping out new heads as long as the calcium level and other parameters are correct, and then even sometimes when they are not they do not seem to be as affected by it as other corals are. They are truly most interesting corals !

Fender guy, not quite a Gibson, guy. Lol. Just kidding. My girlfriend plays the strat, I play the ibanez. The les Paul gets jealous though so my bc rich keeps him company
