i dont post too much in zoa form but thought this was pretty cool....almost want to see if i can get it off and see if i can produce more.. figures you'd see the morph from a high producing colony like eagle eye.

anyone else get this and actually try to separate to try to get more ??

you can see one close to the spongode with the yellow center

Thanks for reply, think its worth it trying to cut it out and grow onto a separate plug ?

I bought a frag of them. About 15 polyp's. Have 3 of them morphed like that. I'm just getting started. I'm going to just let them grow. Not going to drag anything until I have to.
 

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
