I had a velvet outbreak in my main 220 and had to take it fallow. The fallow period is over and I moved the fish that had been in it before back and other fish that I had in QT that had been in a 40b that I wanted to move to the 220. In the 220 before I had a bonded pair of Lunare Wrasse, one adult male and one juvenal. I also have a terminal phase purple scale fairy wrasse from the 40b who is about the same size as my older Lunare. I was concerned that the lunare would bully the fairy, but it seems to be the other way around. Also have dusky halichoerus wrasse the lunare and fairy ignore.

Guess I am just a bit surprised by a fairy bullying a thalassoma. The lunare will chase the other in circles then when the lunare turns around they attack each others face.

In my last paragraph I mixed it up it was the fairy chasing the lunare not the other way around. But regardless it was worked out by morning. They have ignored each other sense.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
