My firefish had what appeared to be scales hanging from underneath its mouth near the right side gills a few days ago. The area looks red today. Water change was recently done.

60 gallon tank, start date was 6 weeks ago
2 clowns (doing fine) and 1 firefish
Trumpet coral, mushroom coral, nirvana Zoas, hammer coral, gsp, clove polyps, and day glow coral.

Salinity 1.026
Nitrates 9
Phosphates 0.19
Temp 78.7
Ammonia ~0

The fish is eating once a day I’ve added Selcon to the food. Hides most of the day. Attempted for Seachem stress guard as well. Any ideas?

Appears to be post injury that has developed a bacterial infection
Treatment best in quarantine and will be any one of these:
Seachem neoplex
Seachem kanaplex
Ruby rally pro
Maracyn 2
