I do 1ml of Bayer to 1-gallon of tank water, dip - usually 10-15 minutes, and do a double rinse with display water.Hmm I watched a guy on you tube liberally add Lugol's iodine to a bowl of water in which he had a coral he was going to frag. I wondered why so much and if it was going to harm the frag.
Where can you get that Bayers ( gee here I thought it was thir aspirin) insect stuff the exact name please and how
Have you noticed it dropping new polyps yet? They're purple with a blue hue depending on lighting and such. There's a green digi right next to it too lol
I do in the 150, but only the orange digi, and never noticed it killing anything, matter of fact, a green slimmer I have was going after it with deadly intent.Alex do you have any digi's? I was actually going to create a digi garden but the blue killed the red/orange one. Has this happened to you?
I'm not sure what you mean. It spreads like crazy and gets taller and taller. The one in the pic I took half of it off on the left side because it was so big.Have you noticed it dropping new polyps yet?
Sorry, I actually have micro colonies starting on live rock in different areas of my tank it seems like it just spreads there a-sexually so I'm assuming it's a dropped polyp and it floated to that area and attached.I'm not sure what you mean. Lol gotta love that green slimer!!I do in the 150, but only the orange digi, and never noticed it killing anything, matter of fact, a green slimmer I have was going after it with deadly intent.
No not in this case but apparently hydnopora does that! So if you have one watch for it. I also removed the hydnopora for that reason. That coral is very deadly to it's neighbors.Sorry, I actually have micro colonies starting on live rock in different areas of my tank it seems like it just spreads there a-sexually so I'm assuming it is drop the polyp and it floated to that area and attached.
Thanks for the heads up, I never really got into hydnopora, but now I don't think won't to!No not in this case but apparently hydnopora does that! So if you have one watch for it. I also removed the hydnopora for that reason. That coral is very deadly to it's neighbors.

You can find it at home depot or lowes....
****Warring this stuff can and will kill all pods if the coral is not rinsed off VERY well.****
