Flashing Orange: An Attempt at an ULM Clown Harem Tank

Here it is all set up!

It starts under my sink. This is the RO 150 GPD unit (dual 75 GPD membranes):


Then it goes to the other side of the sink.
Where the tank and DI and TDS meter are:


Then it goes down under the house and travels 150 feet (it took 200 feet of RO tubing to travel the distance, with a little slack left over):


Then it pops back up through a wall behind my tank:


And goes over to my ATO storage tank (5 gallon bucket):


And in the bucket is a BRS adjustable float switch and another float switch that goes to my apex BOB which will be connected to a solenoid which will shut the water off:



There is my system all done! I spent pretty much all day today working on it.

I have decided to convert this tank into a ULM tank.
My goal is to be able to to 2-3 weeks without touching the tank.

Technically, they aren’t. But I have had one for a few years now (he has grown about 2” a year) and he nibbles at a maxima once, but not since. Never bothered anything else. Knock on wood. He is my favorite fish ever, and I will be upgrading tanks this summer for him (they need upwards of 500 gallons fully grown, I am getting a 300)

It is doing really well! I just recently got new dosing stuff and a new powerhead.
