I want to add some corals in my 12 gallon tank and I am wondering about if my flow is adequate. I will keep some soft corals, sps, brain and hammers, I have a return pump that pumps 171 gallons per hour. I plan to add another powerhead that has a 528 gallon per hour flow rate at the opposite side of my tank as my return pump. Is my flow enough or do I need more power?

Hello there,

Which powerhead are you thinking of using? Your aquascape also will change how the flow in your tank moves as well. For a 12-gallon tank, some SPS might struggle as they prefer higher flow while the other LPS corals you've chosen prefer a more moderate to lower flow.
