How much flow is to much? Or too little. I have a corner 54 with fish, live rock, HOB filter and 2-400 gph WaveMaker. Where should I set them? (This tank is an upgrade from my 46 bow) and being a corner im not 100% sure.

I'm going to add this here just incase
New AI prime light (well, New to me) no corals (yet?) What are your settings for this light?

Which HOB? Those filters tend to provide a little flow too but I don’t imagine its much in a 54 gallon tank. Upload a pic of the tank and you’ll be able to get more feedback

It's the marineland penguin 350, I will be upgrading to a canister here shortly- or I'm hoping before I cut the plexi tip. It's all still in the bow I just want to have a plan prior to the move. Ill upload both for now (i have since cleaned it up and vinyled the back of the corner black)

Two 400 gph powerheads should be fine for a 54 gallon FOWLR. If you move to corals that’s a different story lol.

Too little flow IMO. 800 gph by 54 gallons is like 14x turnover. Less actually cause powerheads always continuously lose effectiveness. Personally I like around 30x-40x + turnover. My 15 gallon softie tank (zoa’s and mushrooms) has 2 x 500 gph powerheads.
