The way I understand it, the contest forum threads don't count and neither do selling or ID threads.

The 1st time you post in a thread you get 20 points, 10 for the actual post and 10 for posting in a new thread. If you post in that same thread again you get 10 points for each subsequent post. So if you reply a total of 4x in a thread you will get a total of 50 points.

Meh I may have to give it to CJ, my rock season season started today and having kiddo hasn't been kind to my computer time today. I guess we'll see, but I am thinking CJ will grab this one, looks like next week for me.

I make man-made base rock for wholesale. I start making it like crazy during the warmer months and my season ends late fall, when it gets too cold.

This season is especially interesting because I had a new shop built at my new home just for it. I got new machinery and all... a lot of excitement! But yeah it eats away a lot of time unfortunately.

That's cool. I didn't realize you did that. Where in SC are you?

I smack-dab in the middle of the state, in a city called Greenwood. It's not exactly a city so much as a town. I like it.. being from South Florida makes you appreciate good ol' southern living and manners. After my wife finished residency, we chose to live here. Only sad thing is that the reefing community here isn't nearly as strong as I'd like it to be.

Ah. Looks like it would be a bit of a trek to Columbia or Charlotte.

Yeah I try to go to Columbia's meetings, but it's an hour and a half drive just to get to the city of Columbia! Most of the reefers there live on the outskirts unfortunately. Greenville is the next club for me, and is closer, but again.. unfortunately it's borderline non-existent.

Don't know if you feel like taking the trip up to Charlotte, but we have some pretty good speakers this year. I don't think I'll be able to make it, but this Saturday we are having Joe Yaiullo and Mitch Carl present at Discovery Place. Tony Vargas is speaking next month.

Thanks I was just fortunate that last week worked out where I didn't have a whole lot of stuff to do and my wife had to work some on the weekend, so I had time to sit around and chat. I don't get too many weeks like that.
