Okay, so this was really weird:
- I found that they did not change
- Palys took over, but! They didn't grow on top of the zoas. So, what happened is that I toyed around with my overflow and in my filter sock I found 4 polyps of the same zoas, dead, off the plug. I threw em away, but they just looked like melted zoas. I have some pictures but I don't think they'd do any good or justice--they're really bad quality...

Looks like my brothers gonna be fine, just a ruptured spleen (or something).

But I do wonder how the zoas got unattached and killed--I only have a royal gramma in this tank, and (fingers crossed) zero pests.
