Took the top off my nano tank this morning to do some housekeeping and found this "thing" crawling on the wall. Almost looks like a snail with no shell but it's pretty big. And pink, really weird looking up close.

Never seen it, never bought one of them, the only anything ever put into that nano was 3 small clowns and a chocolate chip star. Also 2 pieces of live rock that we took out of the reef when we started the nano. When we took the rocks from the reef it was merely 3 months old. So I don't think I had anything funny growing in there yet.

What are your thoughts?

Stomatella snail
Can it just grow out of nowhere? Literally, it's a nano with 2 rocks. No coral, no vegetation. Just rock and maybe 3 lbs of sand if that. How have I missed it for 3 months?
