I have a tank that has been up for close to a month now. Trying to figure out where I am in the diatom, cyano or algae mix.

First there was a brown covering over a lot of the rock and sand which I think was diatoms. Now I am starting to get a lot of this short hair organism. Trying to figure out if I have moved on to algae or if I am looking at something else. The hairs are probably 1/4' long. some of the ones that are getting a little longer have a central stock with smaller hairs branching out.

Thanks!

Looks like an algae.
