Hi!
I’d need some help to ID this algae. Never seen it before.

I have seen it before but cannot find it now. Will keep looking and if I find it I will post it.

Edit might need a microscope image of it.

Thanks a lot, crossing my fingers that you find it!

I don’t have a microscope. Might need to get one for this

Its not like a correct identification matters either.

there are several different types of dinos invasions, for example. we have the stick threads up top here to read regarding those differences.

not any author of any dinos thread has any patterned corrections on file, it's all works in progress...so that means nobody can link you to a working dinos correction thread no matter what your species might be: they're all works in progress.

*just because we can all search up a dinos invasion tank that may have been cured by X action + a fitting ID, that's a one off. if there were real dinos cures available, all those 1000+ pages we can all click above in the dinos help threads would be fix after fix after fix shown in pics

it's not

it's dinos-cyano-GHA-then back to dinos in the majority of cases, it's right there for the clicking. their fix rate is like 2% of offered tanks, few actual sustained fixes are in those stickies.

same for chrysophytes, there's some threads on beating it but the thread isn't an author beating them in someone else's reef, it's their own reef where something worked but they can't transmit that info to other tanks currently in the same challenge.
