Hi all, I added a red hairy hermit crab to the tank since january 2023. Its been doing fine in the tank until recently. On 10 march it went missing and 12 march i saw its exoskeleton lying on the back part of the tank. I thought it died as i couldn't see its shell anywhere. Yesterday it reappear again standing on top of rock structure looking all fine and moving its leg. Today, it stays at the same spot but all of its legs were detached. The whole body is inside the shell with the head poking outside the shell but al of its legs can be seen on the ground. Could anyone tell me whats going on with the crab?
