Ok so a coworker suggested to give an opportunity for summer tank maintenance to students (who took the class). It is a 55 FOWLR with 2 clowns, 1 royal gramma, 1 starfish, 3 snails, 5 hermits. It is a brand new tank set up only 3 months. Students currently spend on average an hour a day on testing, topping, water changing, feeding, cleaning, oh my the works lol. How long do you all spend on your tank a day? Would posting for 2 students for 7- 10 hours a week be overkill? I would definitly need 2, especially for water changes, they usually pair up.

Really? it takes 4 hours to make 5 gallons or RODI alone
Oh and remember they are 14 some are small girls and not-reached-puberty boys, so water changes are being done like a gallon at a time. (they will be siphoning the water in gallon container) and refilling a gallon or half gallon at a time)

Agree that 1-2 hours a week would be sufficient, especially for voluntary teenage labour. I would assume you would prepare the rodi water for them lol.....
