Hello I Have a long single string looks like a fishing line and when I touch it the string latches on and pulls with decent force then goes back into its hole its clear and white and is not a spaghetti worm or aptasia and only comes out at night its about 2 inches at its longest, any ideas? Thanks guys

^^Agree! Digitate Hydroid. Nasty lil buggers in that they pack a nice lil sting that irritate the crap outta corals.
They are filter feeders so the cleaner your water the better your chances are of getting rid of them.
You can also manually remove them with tweezers-fun! :)

Did anyone have any luck getting rid of these? Just found a few little ones. How fast do they spread?
