I have a new tank that is currently cycling, and in the past, I have only ever had tiny AIO tanks.
My current setup is a 60-gallon cube with a 20-gallon sump (Around 70 gallons total after rock, sand, etc.)
Since this is my first experience with a sump, and I finally have a tank big enough for a dragonette, I have some questions! haha
I am going on my honeymoon out to Hawaii for 2 weeks at the end of October so I don't want to put any livestock in but it seems like the perfect time to get some Pods seeded and going crazy in my tank for my future inhabitants as well as a great amount of time to get a healthy refugium going.
Can I seed the tank with pods while having no livestock?
Should I only add them to the fuge at first so they have access to the algea?
What is the best method/plan for pulling this off?
Is this even something you should/can successfully pull off?
Thanks a ton for any input!
