How do you track growth?

So I have to say I'm not always the most positive when I look at my tank. I never see the results, don't feel like things are moving forward... sound like someone you know? So I have to say if it wasn't for pictures I wouldn't notice how much my system has progressed. This started as a nice size frag thanks to @retroreefs but has grown to one of my favorite mini colonies. This is the progrwss of my WWC Heartbreaker.

So my question fellow reefers is how do you track your progress? Feel free to post some pictures of where you stayed to where you are now!
