I'm 22 have been in the hobby for about 3 years and set up 4 tanks, two freshwater 5g and 12g, and two salt water 20g, 75g. Had to setup the salt water 75 twice because it got ick the first time and wiped everything out :/

That's a scary thought. I started with a 58 Oceanic, moved and downgraded to a 33 long, setup a 2.5 gallon briefly, setup a 10 gallon, setup a 12 gallon aquapod, moved again, reset up the 33 and 12 gallon. Upgraded the 12 to a 24 and setup a 7.5 gallon, switched to a 8 biocube for awhile but back to the 7.5 for heat issues, setup a 135 and then turned it fresh. So 9 in 10 years, wow. And I recently bought a used 42? Hex that I am considering making a larger nps tank and getting rid of the 7.5

I tell my husband, the only reason I have had to take down tanks and set up new ones is because we keep moving....well that's half of my problem...the other half is wanting to upgrade all the time! The only times ive started with all new stuff is 2... My first time setting up a tank...and my cross country move...I broke down and sold everything the year before we moved...made it much easier, lol (other than having to buy everything again!)

I've honestly lost count. It seems people find out you have a passion for it and when they get tired of it they just give it to you.

I've just had two in about 20 years since starting SW. Too many freshwater tanks to count :) all on the small side - and moving around a lot.

27 years of fish tanks makes my brain foggy. But in eight years of reef keeping.

For me:
15
30
120
30
40
65
210
29
65
and again the 210

for others.
240
240
175
180
and finally a 180.

I'm tired of setting up tanks. I just want to enjoy mine now days.

I've got two currently running but will be switching over to one system, if that counts. LOL

Main DT has been up for a little over two years now. Not going to change it unless a 100g drops in my lap.
