Hey All,

I currently have a 75 gallon tank that I set up recently. I currently just have 2 juvenile clowns in there.

My salinity is a little high at 1.028. I have a refractometer to check salinity. It doesn't seem to be bothering the clowns but I'd like to get it lowered to around 1.025 since I plan on adding more fish and trying my luck with some corals in the next few weeks (I know my tank is new but I want to try out a couple of cheap coral frags).

How should I go about lowering my salinity? If I pulled a few gallons out of it and replaced with fresh RODI water to get down to 1.025 would that be ok? Would changing it rapidly have an adverse effect on my fish?
