Hey guys so I’m ready to purchase a hydros wave engine to clean up power bricks and cables. I also plan on purchasing a gyre 350 to place on the back wall. I currently have 2 mp40s on the side glass. I also have a varios 2 for my skimmer. I need some help on what I need to hook all 4 pumps up to the wave engine. I believe I need a direct drive for the varios another for the gyre and then do the mp40s need anything or it’s just all wireless? I am getting one because I want to control it with my apex which is another cable I believe as well and the gyres you’re can’t control with the apex. Am I forgetting anything? I saw a 4 plug 0-10v plug available as well what purpose would that serve? Do I need one

You will need:
Wireless WaveEngine HYDROS WaveEngine ETM Wireless Control (https://www.coralvue.com/hydros-waveengine)
HYDROS Maxspect Gyre XF330/350 (https://www.coralvue.com/hydros-waveengine-direct-drive-pump-adapters)
HYDROS Reef Octopus Varios 2/4 & OctoPulse 2/4 WaveEngine Pump Adapter (https://www.coralvue.com/hydros-waveengine-direct-drive-pump-adapters)

The Ecotechs will pair wirelessly, Note this means you will still use the bricks for the pumps.

To connect to the APEX you will need HYDROS WaveEngine APX Link (https://www.coralvue.com/hydros-waveengine-apx-link) Here is a video to start you on that

The 0-10 cable is to control pumps that do not have direct drive e.g. VarioS 6, 8. Using the 0-10 cable plus other adapters you can also control Tunze and Abyzz. (https://www.coralvuehydros.com/is-my-pump-compatible/)

Thank you so much. quick question is the cable different if i choose to get a 280 Gyre instead of the 330/350

My mp40s are the old ones with the white drivers. I was going to upgrade them to the quiet drive but wanted to make sure before purchasing everything that i still use the drive on the mp40s or it would of been a waste of money lol.

Yes the XF150/250/280 is a different cable.
The Wave Engine is only compatible via wireless control with EcoTech VorTech™ MP10WQD, MP40WQD and MP60WQD
