I’ll post a video. The return pump is turned down as low as it will go (jebao dcq-10000 set at 30) and there is no filter sock in the compartment. It’s like raging waters in there even without the sock. If I put a sock in there it overflows out the back of the sump. I’ve tried to research, read everything g I can, and I can’t figure out what the do other than get a different pump? Any suggestions?

Put.a T in the return and divert some water back into the sump and slow down the flow through the tank.

And it won’t make the sump level go high? Thanks for your response
If the tank is working properly, diverting water flow from out of the DT will just keep the same operating level in the sump as normal. Instead of flowing through the dt (and casscading in turbulence) the loop return to the tank just diverts the excess water back to the tank. It's a good place to add a charcoal or gfo canister, or other filtration that requires flow through, or just run it though a sock, sponge, as it returns.
