I just noticed one side of my algea scrubber lights wasn’t working. Pulled it out and this is what I see:

Any thoughts. I have various coral mostly soft a few lps a few sps. One of my torches bailed out in the last 24 hours All else seems fine.

Any comments. It looks like what battery acid would look like right ?
The ice cap scrubber is 4 months old The side where this strip was has about 4 inches of water some how :(

Your lucky that at worse that didn't start a fire. No way to know how much of that leached into your tank without sending your water for a test at a lab. Best thing to do is a few good water changes and run carbon.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
