I added a tang to my tank and he developed ich after 1 day. Removed the tang but I still have a wrasse in my tank. Would it be a good idea to get him out and go fishless for two months or should I leave my wrasse (only fish left in tank) and wait two months to add anymore and see if he develops ich? I don’t want to add more fish in two months and there was still ich in my system from the wrasse!

Yes it would!

Going fallow and putting your fish through proper treatment is the only way to eradicate ich. There's a few ways to do this- and plenty threads on R2R on the subject.

Keeping him in, or introducing them back too soon will potentially cause an outbreak. I am practicing ich management, i know its in there- because I was stupid and impatient :upside-down-face: I am managing with good water change routines, husbandry maintenance, good equality food and a big UV steriliser.

Be better than me, for your own good!
