Mine do that from time to time. I usually sell them locally, or trade for coral.
What’s the trick to get them separated without harming them? Or getting rid of big chunks of rock?
I’ve watched a few Tube videos and on not so sure hanging them upside down or something crazy will work.

Taking the rock out of the water and waiting for them to fall off works for me.
