With copper power being used, you will see a residual copper reading of 0.45 to 0.50 ppm from the bound ammonia in the product. That material is non-toxic to the fish. However, the amount of ammonia you are seeing above that value is more toxic (essentially an additional 0.4 ppm). That could be contributing to the skin issue.

As suspected, ammonia extremely high and causing skin reaction and needs to come down to .03 or below
Copper is at Limit and I expect a water change to help completely. In lieu of 100% I would do 50% and another 24-36 hours layer and mix coppersafe at 2.4 to allow a slight drop
I did a 100% water change and currently mixing water w/ 2.4 copper. I’ll do a 50% at 36 hours. Should I do a 100% at 72 hours?

Thank you, I did a 100% water change. I’ll keep an eye on ammonia and make sure it doesn’t raise. Should I continue to dose nitrofurazon?

Do you guys recommend some sort of dipping? Do I can buy and have ready on hand?
No need to dip and regarding additional water change, let your test kit determine the need
