Is downloading youtube video illegal ?

Just a question for pirate people

Youtube got a very tough rule about their content

Anyone get any idea or knowledge ?

YouTube is based off of sponcerors, the more downloads the better the sponcerors do. So down load away

I work in television and deal with this stuff all day. Downloading the video is not illegal. It's if you were to charge people to watch it that would be illegal. That's how TV works. If a production downloaded it and aired it then they and the networks are making money off of the video. If you are just downloading for your personal collection then go ahead. If you start and website and require people to pay and put the video on there then it's illegal.
