Hi all. So I did an ICP and resulted that most of my elements are either low or not detectable (results below)

Could it be that my carbon is eating up all the elements I am dosing? I run it 24/7 (fauna marin carbon pelets)

Could this be the case? Should I run it only on alternate days? Should I dose colours when carbon is off?

Opinions?

I doubt that it is the cause. The only way for you to confirm this is to stop carbon for a week and see what happens.

GAC is unlikely to play much role in trace element consumption. It is common to see low or undetectable levels. A trace element supplement may or may not be useful since how much is actually needed by any given organism is not well established.
