Is there something I can do to remove this type of algae? I’ve looked at other hair algae and it seems to be much thicker and people talk about manual removal but this stuff is very wispy and I can’t seem to remove it. I have a very sturdy nylon brush I’ve taken to it and it won’t come off.

My tank is still pretty young, I’m only four months in, but the parameters seems ok to me. I have an urchin coming Friday so I think that should help but just curious if anyone has any other suggestions.

Measurements:
Phosphate: .04 ppm
Nitrates: 11.7
PH: 8
Alkalinity: 8.96
