7 is low, but not low enough to kill most of our fishes.
2 would probably kill most things

i know its not the ph probe its only 4 months and i just calibrated it last week to make sure some corals looked on the way out others are good fish that died was a gem tang never had one so not sure if they are sensitive only dosing np bacto balance to help keep nutrients balanced

I would look towards other issues than Ph. I haven't even tested mine in years.
 

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
