My plans for this system like my other tank is to be sps dominant mixed reef.
I wanted to move away from wifi and apps and go back to where reefing started with a mostly analog system for control, I find it less enjoyable to always have to be on my phone to work on my tank and turn stuff off. Its frustrating to have 4 different apps to make changes and equipment constantly having connection and network problems. My tank is for me to have a break from tech and enjoy what nature has to offer while still being stable enough to grow sps.

Tank
I love the dimensions of this tank being 120gal, 48x24x24 with a 30 gal sump.
Tank seems very clear and well constructed, with bean style over flow.
Stand
Stand construction is very sleek and sturdy with adjustable leveling feet. I did like my Innovative marine stand better but this is still very nice Lexan, aluminum and ply construction and has a very modern feel.
Plumbing
The not so favorable part of this tank I would say is the plumbing. Its mostly thin pvc, that is not glued the most accurately, both drain pipes are the same height with turbo silencers which I believe will affect its ability to skim a bit. Also does not have any gate valve but just 2 ball valves. return line seems fine beside for the nozzles can their own metric size so an adapter is need to covert to line loc or vca. Gravity ATO tank is small.
Scape
Aragonite bottom
Carib sea real reef rock shapes and arches for construction, Transferred from my 50gal lagoon

Prostar 150 peninsula
Prostar lid
Jebao dcp 6500 return pump

Here is some sump pics, and more.
No3 bottomed out a day or two. Had a short Dino (ostreopsis) outbreak. Installed a 40watt uv and dosed some no3. Seems to have take care of the problem rather quickly. Add the reef bars aswell. Calcium reactor is working nicely. Fish are doing great and have great polyp extension on my acros.

Considering options on my upgrade. As of now, I'm doing the RS 500 G2+ Peninsula, but this would be cheaper and I can also get a discount, so I heard.

RS has two return line options, which I wish the Prostar had. I was going to run one of them with a UV and the other with a manifold option. Do you feel you can get the flow required with a single return? Since you only need 3-4x turnover, probably so....just need to figure out the UV thing.

You have a nice setup. Are you pleased with the build quality?

I love the tank so far. The glass and seams are excellent. I'm not crazy about the overflow box and plumbing. It's not set up like a bean animal so it wants to be noisy. And there is very little room in the stand for a uv. This is how Installed mine. The sump design could be better the return pump chamber should have been in the back vs the front. It's hard to access what could be a fuge or algae scrubber chamber.
