Hi all,

I’ve had this mushroom for 1 week now, and noticed that there are 2 spiral-like clusters at the bottom of its foot. I don’t recognize it as something typical to a mushroom foot and was wondering if anyone could ID what they are? For a second I wondered if they were snail eggs, but I don’t think so based on the location and that they look so uniform.

Don’t mind the trochus spawning in the pic.

may repost in the hitchhiker/critter ID thread?

I posted here because it just seems odd to have these on the foot of a mushroom. No idea if it’s mushroom related
