My birdsnest is getting big and it makes me grumpy

I'm gonna need to get a bigger tank I got too much sps in close quarters for it to be doing so well and that means I'm gonna have to keep fragging this thing. I think my next upgrade will be 40b-> at least 300g so I can get the 48" deep and grow a really huge without crowding problems.

You guys probably think I have my concerns backwards. Has anyone else felt this way having success with certain corals in smaller tanks and wishing you could let it just get bigger and bigger forever? Watching this thing grow is super satisfying.

Yup. I couldn't forever grow a bird's nest, friend from my Reef Club gave me a piece and it's growing like crazy.

These are Nicrew Hyperreef 150w. They are good, and have drawbacks like bad power bricks and the touch button system can break over time. Great spectrum imo though and great price.

They do grow fast! I’ve had to frag mine a dozen times in the past 20 months. I’m starting to get a funny look from the owner of my lfs when I walk in with a bag. A couple of weeks ago I brought in a couple frogspawn, monti caps and probably 8 birdsnest frags. She said she still had some from last time. I told her to throw them in as a free frag on Black Friday.
